MeditArtha: Cultivating Well-Being with Intention
Fireside chat with Claudio Capraro, Personal Financial Advisor
MEDITARTHA
In yoga, Artha represents one of the fundamental aims of human life, generally referring to the pursuit of material well-being and success, to be enjoyed without excess.
THE INTERVIEW
The interview we present here is taken from the MeditArtha meditation workshop held last June, and it focuses on the theme of conscious prosperity. Together with Claudio Capraro, Personal Financial Advisor, we embarked on an in-depth dialogue on how best to cultivate well-being with intention.
THE MEDITATION
The workshop explored the relationship between conscious well-being and meditation in both practice and life experience, through a guided practice that helped participants focus their intentions and resources towards achieving their own unique and most intimate desire for personal fulfillment.
THE PROJECT
Our journey of collective reflection was on the themes of economic achievement and financial planning. This exploration transformed into a personal project, where the present expanded like a forest to cross and to care for.
THE FRUITS
With these words, participants expressed the transformative power of the workshop in terms of actions:
“Crossing a living forest that can bear fruit over time, if I dedicate myself to it.”
“Managing material resources as if they were a project to cultivate for my own good.”
“Saving as a conscious choice today, for the benefit of my future self.”
“Cultivating financial well-being as a conscious choice.”
“Feeling that our intention for material security is rooted in trust and responsibility.”
“Beginning today to project the present along a future trajectory.”
“Challenging the apparent oxymoron between spiritual growth and material well-being.”
DULCIS IN FUNDO
With great emotion, I once again thank Claudio and all the participants in the workshop.
